Senior Value Creation Manager – International Expansion

Allegro is seeking a well-structured, detail-oriented, and dynamic International Expansion Senior Project Leader to join our team. This key role will lead the expansion of Allegro's presence into new markets, driving both the development and execution of long-term country strategies, as well as the orchestration of market launches. The ideal candidate excels in project management, communication, and fosters a one-team approach across the organization.
●Launch Planning & Execution: Facilitate discussions regarding localization of customer and merchant value propositions for new markets. Manage internal stakeholders to deliver Allegro's value proposition, such as local carriers and payment integrations. Continuously improve the launch playbook with learnings from past launches, and optimize launch processes to enhance efficiency. Support Launch Plans with: (i) market analysis (understanding local market conditions customer expectations, and competitive environments) and (ii) definition of key performance indicators.
●Project Management: Identify key deliverables, structure activities into work assignments, and plan, monitor, and adjust project timing and work to meet changing demands. Motivate team members and maintain a healthy balance between delegation and control.
●Cross-Departmental project execution & One Team Approach: Drive alignment across various departments to support the implementation of new country strategies and successful market launches. Act as a liaison between teams to ensure cohesive and coordinated efforts. Identify all relevant parties within Allegro, involving and engaging them throughout the life of the project. Generate enthusiasm and win support for projects from various stakeholders
●Launch Playbook & Process Optimization: Use insights from each launch to continuously improve the launch playbook and make launch processes more efficient and less resource-intensive
●Top-tier degree, MBA preferred
●5+ years of experience in Consulting, Investment Banking, Private Equity or strategic planning, project management, and process optimization within the eCommerce industry or a Big Tech-type environment
●Proven track record of successfully leading expansion projects and optimizing complex cross-functional processes within European countries will be a plus
●Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data and metrics to identify process improvement opportunities and drive data-informed decision-making within the eCommerce context
●Excellent leadership and team management abilities (esp. in matrix management structure), with a focus on fostering collaboration, managing stakeholders, and inspiring teams to achieve ambitious goals
●Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills - ability to (i) to exhibit powerful, concise, and effective written and verbal communication, (ii) provide a logical structure when covering subjects and making recommendations, (iii) influence and effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences, (iv) design and develop documentation for guidelines, standards, procedures, and processes that meet the needs of the target audience
●Work Style: ability to display an informal and respectful demeanor towards all individuals, regardless of position. Be a collaborative, understanding, empathetic team player, receptive and responsive to feedback, and encourage others to give their best.
