Software Engineer (.NET) – Opennet

OpenNet.pl is a leading provider of technological solutions for the logistics industry. We have been a part of the Allegro Group since 2021 and together we are working on the green Allegro One Box parcel machines, of which there are nearly 3 000 across Poland!

We guarantee work on complex programming projects that will undoubtedly expand your skills using the latest technologies and design patterns. Additionally, you will actively participate in the analysis and creation of new solutions delivered to our clients.

We are looking for people who:

• Have experience in software development using C# language
• Have worked with ASP .NET framework, with a focus on ASP .NET Web Forms
• Have created websites using the HTML/CSS/JS stack
• Have knowledge of relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL
• Are familiar with web technologies such as TCP, HTTP, REST, and version control system GIT
• Have a basic understanding of computer fundamentals, including multithreading, data types, and memory management
• Enjoy working with legacy code
• Possess analytical thinking skills and the ability to analyze independently
• Know English at B2 level and Polish at C1+ level

The following are also a plus:

• Experience in software development using C# .Net 7
• Familiarity with cloud solutions, especially Azure
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Understanding of unit and integration testing methodologies
• Familiarity with transactional concepts including ACID
• Knowledge of relational database optimization techniques
• Understanding of parallel and distributed processing concepts

Your main responsibilities:

• Development and maintenance of existing services in a distributed architecture, as well as creating new components
• Analysis and optimization of the system, proposing new technical solutions and improvements
• Responsibility for delivering high-quality solutions
