
How do candidates see Allegro? Here’s what our latest Employer Brand Awareness study shows
Every year, we ask ourselves the same question: How do candidates see us as an employer? And what more can we do to make sure that people considering Allegro feel confident they’re making the right choice? To find the answer, we not only talk to candidates but also look at data. At the end of 2024, we carried out another edition of our Employer Brand Awareness Research, both in Poland and the Czech Republic.
Over 1,000 people took part in the study, covering the areas of Tech & Data, Commerce, Corporate Functions, Customer Experience, and Supply Chain. Here’s what we learned and how Allegro compares to other employers.
What did we study?
The research had two main goals:
- To check how well-known and attractive Allegro is as an employer
- To better understand what matters most to candidates when choosing a workplace and how well our efforts match those expectations
We looked closely at:
- Unaided Awareness: do people mention Allegro on their own as a potential employer?
- Aided Awareness: do they recognize Allegro when presented on a list of companies?
- Top of Mind: which companies come to mind first when thinking about potential employers?
We also asked what benefits and factors are most important when looking for a new job.
Poland: Stability, growth, recognition
Across all fields, candidates tend to describe Allegro similarly as a large, stable company focused on growth and innovation.
Key insights:
- High brand awareness: Aided awareness reached 86% in Poland. That’s better than last year and on par with the biggest market players.
- Job stability: This is one of our strongest points. Many candidates say that job security is a key reason to choose Allegro.
- Positive image: Allegro is seen as a place offering work-life balance, challenging projects, and experienced teams. More and more people also value our efforts in sustainability.
- Top of Mind: In four out of five job areas, Allegro was the first choice for candidates.
What comes to mind when people think of Allegro?
- Tech & Data: constant growth, innovation, interesting projects
- Corporate Functions: job stability, big company, large-scale operations
- Commerce: career opportunities, fast-paced work, security
- Customer Experience: modern tools, size of the company, stability
- Supply Chain: trust, development opportunities, reliability
Czech Republic: Growing stronger every year
We’re still building brand awareness in the Czech Republic - and we're seeing great progress!
The study shows that:
- Our aided awareness continues to grow year by year
- More people are considering Allegro as a potential employer
- Those who know us value our scale, international presence, and stability
What matters most to candidates?
In both Poland and the Czech Republic, candidates clearly pointed out their top five priorities:
- Job stability
- Salary level
- Working on ambitious and interesting projects
- Work-life balance
- Reputation of the company and its teams
And what does the young generation think?
To better understand future candidates, we joined the strategic research project “A po studiach idziemy do pracy”* (“After graduation, we go to work”).
This study shows what students are looking for in their first job. Here's what matters most to them:
- A good salary
- Flexibility and the ability to combine work with studies
- Opportunities for growth and clear training offers
- A convenient location
- Authentic and honest communication

*The study was conducted by the research team at MBE Group in late 2024 and early 2025, using the CAWI method. The survey included open-ended questions.
What’s next?
For us, research is more than just data and charts. We see it as a compass - it shows us what’s working and what we can still improve.
