The Noble Cart: when compassion meets innovation

For over twenty years The Noble Gift (Szlachetna Paczka) has been uniting communities, and transforming lives. With its roots firmly planted in the ethos of giving back, it has become a symbol of solidarity, kindness, and meaningful impact. This noble endeavor was supported by Allegro for the 6th year.

Uniting forces for good

One of the most remarkable aspects of the Noble Gift is its ability to unite people from all walks of life in a common purpose. From dedicated volunteers to everyday shoppers, everyone has a role to play in this collective effort. This edition alone, over 65 000 clients and 520 Allegro’s volunteers joined forces to support the cause, demonstrating the incredible power of community spirit.

The Noble Cart 

Technology has become a powerful tool for driving social change. Allegro leverages the capabilities of its platform to provide customers with a seamless way to contribute to the cause. Each year between November and December, every buyer on the platform can join the Noble Cart action and add a Noble Brick worth 10, 20, 50, 100 or 200 pln to their cart with only one click of a button. Thanks to the mechanism provided by Allegro Charity, all the money collected will go directly to the account of the WIOSNA Association organizing the Noble Gift and will allow the organization to operate. What's more, anyone who supports the initiative in this way will see a special mark - a heart - on the icon of their Allegro shopping cart. The impact of this digital philanthropy is undeniable, with a record of 65 231 customers and 1 237 545 pln gathered during last edition.

Allegro Charity

Allegro Charity was driven by an idea to make helping others as effortless as ever, by combining shopping and contributing to a charitable cause. It is a space within Allegro that allows the platform's customers to help while shopping online, and NGOs to raise funds for important social causes. Buyers can choose from commercial as well as charity listings during their daily shopping. Sellers, on the other hand, can easily list any item for the charity of their choice and help. The principles are simple - no fees or commissions are charged, and the total proceeds from all charitable offerings are donated to the account of the organization conducting the collection.

Continuous improvement

Like any successful endeavor, the Noble Cart is constantly evolving and improving. Each year, organizers reflect on past experiences, identify areas for growth, and implement strategic changes to enhance the initiative's effectiveness. For example, recent efforts to streamline the “Noble Brick” purchasing process have resulted in a nearly twofold increase in funds raised, demonstrating the importance of innovation and adaptability in driving positive change.
